WE ARE OPEN. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety and well-being of our patients and our staff will continue to be a priority and as such we will be seeing patients on a reduced schedule to allow for more spacing and better disinfection of devices. To schedule an appointment call Dr. Tirado today to discuss your needs! We truly appreciate your understanding during this difficult time and will do our best to help you or your loved one.
The macula is an area of the light-sensitive retina in the center of the back of the eye. In the center of the macula is the fovea that contains densely packed photoreceptor cells which are necessary for seeing fine detail and providing sharp straight-ahead vision. This is similar to the way pixels are packed in a high definition or 4k TV versus an older standard TV.
